Ancient Rome: Cement; Laws

Great Britain: light bulb (Thomas Edison did not invent the light bulb, he perfected a filiment for it); modern economic theory; airplane (Wright Brothers did not invent the airplane, they made the first working model), steam engine, first iron clad warship The Warrior.

Italy: Banks; double digit entry system, wireless (radio).

China: compass, movable type, gunpowder, first detective novel, fully batten sails.
