That depends on what you consider a decent salary. Associates degrees are a stepping stone, but don’t have the professional clout that bachelors and masters degrees have. So, you’d probably take an entry level job, possibly in law enforcement or a related field.

I was feeling really smart until I came to the decent salary! Where do you live? One of the schools in the Chicago area is advertising hard on this. Some jobs that come to mind are records keeping, liaison with the community (like Officer Friendly), assisting with yucky jobs like medical examiner. Take a peek at the link below. My search turned up a lot of things for the UK, and/or Masters degrees, Just take a good look at one or more of the police shows on tv and see what kind of things people are doing. Don’t forget the lawyer jobs, either.
