I have an Associate in Arts. It’s completely generic, and I only got it so I could transfer without meeting a new school’s general ed requirements. If I had to do it over again, I’d've gotten in something useful, like welding or CNC machining. I would feel less bad about my useless BFA (bachelor’s in Fine Arts). And earn a good $20/hr.

at CC, I got an AAS. completely useless. Went on to get a BA.

starting over and still going to CC, I’d have opted for the AA, if only for the better transfer and better chance of having gen-ed reqs waived at a 4-year.
