Another 2 for masters and well for PhD that all depends.

They both depend PhD is the highest you can get you become a doctor in your career field that can take anywhere from 4 to 9 years a masters is the second highest it takes around 2 to 4 years

In a nutshell, just a better degree. Depends what field your in and your thesis, but could be anywhere from 2-4 more years.

It takes about 8 years for you to get your PhD…but it also depends on your area of study…andddd your master’s only takes 6 years.

A PhD sucks and is a waste of time. They cause a great deal of harm to people. A Masters is cool though.

You can usually earn a master’s in about 2 years. Most doctorate (Ph.D.) degrees require a master’s before a candidate can be admitted to the program. A Ph.D, could take as few as three more years, or it could take years and years!

The two main differences are that you have to write a dissertation for a PhD, and you earn (on average) about an extra $15K per year.
