Do an qualifying masters in it first eg:

It wont be wasted – the schools I know of will give you credit towards your PhD.

Thanks

In the US, you’ll need to pick up a few undergrad classes before you can apply to a masters/PhD psych program. Usually, it’s into to psych, developmental psych, abnormal psych, and stats. There might be a couple of others depending on the program. Start picking out grad schools and looking at the requirements. You’ll also need to take the GRE general test. If you haven’t taken it, you’ll want to start studying. Some programs (usually clinical) will require you also take the GRE psych specific test.
