My school doesn’t have an undergraduate program for oceanography so I have two choices, geology or earth sciences. I will be going onto graduate school for oceanography and eventually obtain a phd in oceanography so I’m wondering which would better plan me to do the type of work that is required when studying oceanography?

I might have to make a choice to change my double major into a major and a minor. My second major wouldn’t compliment the Quantitative Economics as well as some others–the second major is urban and regional planning. Would mathematics be a good choice–or would urban/regional/city planning be a good minor?

I would like to ask about a research-oriented PhD program in computer science in the United States. I am looking for a program that can be finished in 3 years NOT a long one where students stay for 5-7 years.

I noticed some colleges have a history teacher certification program. However, others just have a secondary education program and a history program. Can I major in Education and minor in History and still get certification? Would I be able to do this with most colleges?
