How would you calculate the distance if you were provided with force and a weight?
Example:
Which one would go the furthest if pushed?
A. 10N applied to a 54 kg. car
B.20N applied to a 60 kg. box
And so on. How would I find the distance that it moved? Take in mind that I’m only in 7th grade so please explain it simply and not too complicated.Ii don’t want the answer, just [...]

minimizing distance? Find the point on the line 5 x + 5 y + 3 =0 which is closest to the point ( 3, 3 ).?
Find the point on the line 5 x + 5 y + 3 =0 which is closest to the point ( 3, 3 ).
I know you have to take the derivative of the distance formula, but i dont know how to go about the rest.

find the value of “a” if the points are the indicated distance apart.?
G(2,a), H(1,4);D=square root of 17.
possible answers are: A.2 B.1 C.0 D.-1
ive been working on this question for about an hour and i cant figure it out. help please.
use the distance formula.

Calculus: is it possible to find distance traveled with velocity and acceleration w/o antiderivative formulas?
I have a problem where I’m given the velocity (not linear). And I find the acceleration (not linear).
With those how do you find the distance traveled (NOT displacement) without using antiderivative formulas (we haven’t gotten to that part yet)?
