I have been looking for a job for several months now and I have noticed that I get more call backs and responses to my resumes and job applications when I list my high school diploma vs. my Bachelors degree. Should I be be honest or should I continue to lie on my applications. BTW: These are for retail, cashier, server, and nurse assistant positions.
I would also like to add I have been applying to entry level positions with no luck for the past seven months with my Bachelors degree among other qualifications. So far in seven months I have not had any callbacks when I use my “real information.” Trust me. I would like to have a job using my degree but right now that seems impossible as I have yet to go on an interview using my degree and additional skills and qualifications.

NO! I do pre-employment background checks, and believe me, we do research and verify if you actually have the degree or not, do not lie about anything on your application, for we do thourough research and investigation, you can get automatically disqualified if we find out and also you will gain a bad reputation.
