You put terms in the right order, however, this is inequality, not an equation.

4X^2-9X+2 < 0

(X - 2 ) (4 X - 1 ) <0

the x-2 term and the 4x-1 term must have opposite signs

if x-2 >0 and 4x-1 <0 or

2 < x <1/4 impossible

or

x-2<0 and 4x -1 >0 or

1/4< x < 2

is < 0 finishes it.
