Choosing a profession shouldn’t be based on what others tell you to do. You do that, you’ll end up unhappy and resentful of the people who told you to do it. You need to trust your gut–what is your heart telling you to do? Only you can answer this question.

Make a list of the things that you enjoy…

If you like working with children, being creative working hard for average pay, can deal with snotty noses etc and want to make a real difference in the world go with teaching. Also you want to understand that you do not have set hours and you will be working at home making up activities etc

If you like dealing with the elderly, enjoy working alone, and want to leave your work at the job and not taking it home with you then study for the pharmacy.

Science is a good strong point for pharmacy as well.

Don’t spend your time thinking. In your case it is self destructive. Pick one of the two or even another vocation and get going./
