This is my advice: Don’t isolate yourself. You should join a homeschool support group so you can make friends with other teens who are also homeschooled. Here are two links where you can find a group in your area.

Do you have a driver’s license? If so, you could apply for a part-time job. You could also do some volunteer work. Here is a link with some ideas.

Support group, part-time job, and volunteer work — these are all ways to get out of the house and meet people and make friends. Best wishes!

Volunteer in your community or get a job to socialize more often. You won’t get something as serious as depression just for one year to get ahead of pace. Focus on your goals, and as soon as you’re done you’ll have your whole entire life to enjoy. We’re only in school for what, 15-20 years out of our entire lives?
