I have my associates degree from an online school. When I apply for a career in the future do I just put my Bachelors and Masters or do I need to include associates as well, even though its just basic courses?
If it is form an on-line school I would say no because many employers do not want employees with on-line degrees. ALso if you have a bachelors and masters degree that should suffice. Hope this helps good luck!
If you have earned it then why aren’t you mentioning it. I know the preference would be on masters and bachelor’s but mentioning associates degree won’t be any negative to your profile. Sometimes these basic courses help you get those work specific jobs.
So don’t worry add it.
Normally, I’d go ahead and list it. You never know if the person interviewing you also went to that school or knows someone who went there. It may seem like a little thing, but those types of coincidences have a big impact on how they remember you and who gets hired.
You might want to list your education in reverse chronological order so the most recent degrees are at the top.
If it’s relevant to your career you might include it. I have an AA in Journalism and I always put it when applying for media jobs, especially since my BA was in Sociology, to demonstrate that I possess that skill set.
