I would like to hear how its going with you after you earned your online degree and are working now. I am currently attending University of Maryland University College and earning a history degree and would like to work as a substitute teacher then earn a teacher credential to be a middle school history teacher. Please state your school as well. And if you think employers are hesitant to hire you if you earned an online degree rather than traditional. Thank you.

Yes some employers don’t see degree earned online same as degree earned the traditional way but one should feel that its not right thing to do that. As degree earned online constitutes same effort and discipline. If you have earned a degree online then you should emphasis on the fact that you should posses good knowledge of the course done by you. So that none pin points on the degree you posses.

I know a number of people who have an online degree and are working. You should recognize, however, that many employers do not like online degrees./
